Sam advises college and university deans and administrators on all aspects of accreditation and building veterinary programs. She guides projects and strategizes on industry-related initiatives.

She is a credentialed veterinary technician with over a decade of teaching experience at an AVMA-accredited vet tech program. She has passed state legislation recognizing veterinary technicians, and volunteers as co-chair on NAVTA’s Government Relations Committee. Sam also received NAVTA’s 2023 Vet Tech of the Year Award.

Sam lives in Minnesota with her husband and two sons. She enjoys summer days on the lake, grilling, and discovering new restaurants.
