Carolina tracks legislation statewide and delivers specialized research and materials to the Government Relations team. She works closely with the Director of Legislative & Regulatory Affairs and the Vice President of Government Relations. She tracks hundreds of animal welfare bills and delivers high-level reports for clients.

Additionally, she conducts in-depth analyses of relevant policies, including telemedicine and animal welfare, and monitors legislation at the state, national, and international levels. She also develops data-driven fact sheets for advocacy stakeholders.

She earned a degree in journalism with a minor in government from The University of Texas at Austin, where she interned in the government relations department at Austin Pets Alive! and later joined Animal Policy Group as a Government Relations Specialist.

In her free time, Carolina enjoys watching movies, martial arts, and reading.
